Eddie Thrash, and his wife, Jacqueline Thrash, are producer and executive producer of Familiar Places. Eddie Thrash is also the arranger, and guitarist.
Familiar Places got arrangement praises from Ray Obiedo (on the song Two More Hearts). Ray Obiedo has arranged and produced many projects himself from Shelia E to Peabo Bryson.
Both Familiar Places and the latest CD Say Thank You, also received praises from Teresa Trull, "It has a lot of heart, and impressive arrangements". She has produced over 50 projects to date and won numerous awards including the New York Music award for best independent producer, and the Bay Area Cable Car award numerous years.
Eddie Thrash is no stranger to the music business. Being from a gospel family background (Uncle Clyde Peterson & Cousin James Cleveland), he learned about the music business early on, and has 27 years of experience (17 of which has been professional).
He has his own record label, Pinkie Mae & Co., and publishing company, Pinkie Mae Publishing. As well as playing both acoustic and electric guitars, he has studied trumpet, and piano. He has managed, produced, arranged and recorded numerous projects, as well as performing live. He has written music scores for documentaries for television and news, including radio jingles. He has worked as a performing and recording artist (guitar), a song writer (two of his songs were on a jazz fusion album, In The Pocket).
