10 MP3 Songs
COUNTRY: Country Pop, COUNTRY: Modern Country
Details:
Hawg Wylde burst on the country scene in 1995 with their debut CD entitled, “Kick Off Your Boots.” The title track of which is still a high point of the band’s live show. Their sophomore CD entitled “Wildest Dreams” was released in 1998 and included the releases, “One and Only,” and “Little Bit of Lovin” in addition to the title track. The video for “One and Only” which was filmed in the old CN Rail Station in Winnipeg reached an impressive #8 on the CMT Top 20 Chart.
“UPANATUM” proves to be yet another great progression in songwriting and production with nine original tracks as well as a rendition of the Eddie Rabbit hit, “I Love a Rainy Night”, the CD’s first release. The Winnipeg Art Gallery was the site for the video that conveniently rained all day.
A CD review for the Wildest Dreams CD can be found in that May 04/99 issue of the “RPM Magazine” which states, “These guys have a hook and once they have your attention, their natural talent takes over.” They go on to say, “The album is at least four singles deep.”
