Blue Star "Feels So Good"
What we had in mind was a cd that makes you feel good.
The kind of cd that becomes your favourite and lives in your cd player as a resident.
Heartfelt music with depth that creates a beautiful atmosphere, no matter if you listen, do something else or dream, during breakfeast in bed, in the car or alone with your lover.
Music that reflects the feeling you have when everything is o.k. and you are one with the present moment. When you can accept, be and take complete responsibility for yourself.
Now you can feel your long lost dreams again, no matter how big or small they are.
And there is this feeling that life is wild, exciting, even frightening but no more boring.
Sometimes it’s in the small things: A smile, a spectacular sky or the purring of your cat. Inspiration is everywhere.
And that is exactly what is expressed in the music of this cd – feeling the source that makes life worth living.
The Tracks of this cd were inspired by these moments. Standing by the window, playing my Les Paul (guitar), melodies just came to me from everywhere. Then Elizabeth came in with her Hammond C3 and wide soundscapes unfolded. Other tracks began with an organ groove or mood that inspired my lines..
Creating „Feels So Good“ was absolutely easy. When we started recording in autumn 2006, we went through our sketches and found material for 2 cds. “Working” on the tracks was pure fun and we kept things simple. Less overdubs and three tracks just with guitar and piano. But also many rhythmic tracks – all of them sunny and easy.
The total playing time is almost 70 minutes and it’s fun to listen from the beginning until the end.

Here is an excerpt from the booklet’s center page:
A spectacular view of the Bavarian Alps greets us from
our studio.
We’re inspired by dramatic skies, lakes, forests, and
that special light found only in this area.
Since our move here in 2005, this small village and
extraordinary environment have been a large part of
our music.
It is a gift to live in such a beautiful place, and it
is our hope that the joy and inspiration we feel here
is reflected in the music of this album.
The music was already here.
We just had to listen for it.
Our days are framed by sunrises and sunsets.
We have come back to the things that really matter.
Living, laughing with friends, celebrating each day.
Life is good and we have a choice.
We are creators.
Fear transforms into love and trust.
Old wounds heal and we get stronger each day.
We carefully choose what we attract by watching our
thoughts and feelings.
We allow what we really desire to come into our lives.
We are grateful for all we are and all that we have.
We understand that there is unlimited supply
and that we are responsible for what we attract.

The Blue Star Story
One evenig Elizabeth said: „What about recording some music that is exactly what we like, a record we would buy for ourselves?“ That was way back in 1985, when Peter and Elizabeth started to create some music without vocals in their then still small studio.
Instrumental music with lots of guitars was way uncool in those days. But it felt right for the artists and set the course for their future work.
Nine CDs, more than 100 000 downloads and 700 produced tracks later, Blue Star are successful independent Artists with an own label.
„Hot Interaction of Mr. Guitar and Lady Hammond“, wrote a critic.
Stellar guitar, melodic like Santana / Peter Green plus a touch of U.S. - Soulblues a‘ la Larry Carlton meet groovy Hammond lines in the style of Jimmy McGriff but also Gegg Rolie (Ex Santana) Emotion and playfulness are the main ingredients. Live drums live peacefully beneath loops and samples.
Peters Les Paul, ES 335 und Gretsch White Falcon are the main guitars. Elizabeth plays a 1963 Hammond C3 with Leslie, Rhodes and Wurlitzer Pianos.
Atmosphere is the keyword that makes this music interesting for musicians and non musicians as well.
Listening to Blue Star for the first time, it takes a while until you notice that nobody is singing. The instruments tell their stories and nobody misses vocals.
The more quiet albums like Himalaya Suite (1997) and Blues (2003) are relaxed, almost meditative, but without the new age grease.
Cds like Ritual are more on the hot https://www.tradebit.comh live drums and percussion really cooking, this studio album has an almost live https://www.tradebit.comtever album you listen to, it will always sound like Blue Star
Since February 2005, Blue Star live and play in a small village near the Bavarian lake Chiemsee. Peter and Elizabeth are fascinated by the beautiful scenery, the mountains and lakes and the gentle people.
This definately influences the music: "Looking out of my studio window lets the creative juices flow"; says Peter."I''m hit by new melodies and ideas at an almost insane pace. Of course a new album is on the way. Stay tuned!"
Now, in February 07 “Feels So Good” is out, an invitation to feel good! And it is really happening! Fans from all around the world start to Feel So Good!
