Michael Nash has been playing music since he was an Air Force brat in Germany. When he came back to the states with his family, he continued to play in the best garage band ever, The Underground System. That''s when long hair was considered radical. His vocal style has been compared to Tom Waits and Waylon Jennings. His musical style has been influenced by blues, country and good old rock and roll. But the country music he loves is from his dad''s time, the more traditional country like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson.
He spent 9 months working on this CD to make it reflect the songs and songwriters he loves and grew up with. This album is a labor of love which includes a song from his older brother and 2 originals Michael wrote hoping that they are nearly as good as his musical heroes.
