Double Entendre are a high-energy, eclectic blast of what can only be described as "GypRock". Resembling a bunch of untamed gypsies rockin'' out to rhythm and jazz, these West Australian Fremantle vagabonds incorporate instruments such as ukulele, mandolin, didgeridoo, melodica, tin-whistle and barbershop-style vocal harmonies into tunes that blend Celtic folk, flamenco, swing and Afro-grooves.
Since their formation in 2006, Double Entendre have been steadily raising their profile gigging solidly around their local independant music scene. The band have just released their debut EP and are gearing up to tour Australia in a bus over the coming year.
