Friends for 50 years, both with a love for music collaborate on this fun, instrumental work. Both George and Tom grew up in Jackson, TN and attended school together. George got started in the sixties while Tom became a musician/songwriter in the early seventies.
Musical mentors include Tony Joe White, Phil Keaggy, and Mac Gayden. Carl Perkins was the "happening thing" when George and Tom were growing up, and Carl lived a few blocks away on Park Street in those early days. It was a special thing to get a glimpse of Carl coming and going.
Needless to say, these two guys were fortunate to be able to experience fifties, sixties, and seventies music in its heyday. And even today, if the song is good it will stand on its own and it will reach the ears of these two troubadors.
