4-time Grammy nominated singer, Kate Hart who returned to Detroit and formed this all-star group with the top women singers in the Detroit area. The women are Cheryl Lescom, Rhonda Bantsimba, Lady T, Stacia Petrie, Valerie Barrymore, Kate Hart and Karen Vesprini. Kate created Detroit Women based on the successful 18 year run with Seattle Women. Each of the women sings lead while the others provide back-up vocals. They are backed-up by the renowned Dennis Burr, Steve Kohn, Susie Woodman and Rick Zeldes. The members have appeared and toured with everyone from Meatloaf to Kenny Loggins to Delbert McClinton to Bob Seger to Roy Orbison to Hall and Oates.
