Erica Holloway began her professional career when she was asked to do voiceover work for the music video show “In the Mix” in Atlanta, Georgia. It was soon, thereafter, when Erica landed a position as radio announcer for Atlanta’s WAEC Love 86 where she learned the skill of writing and producing commercials for local clients and became the voice for their products.
Erica had begun to find her niche and as an end result a client asked her to host and produce their top 10 Gospel radio show entitled “The Heavenly Body Products Gospel Hour” of which was featured in Imani Magazine in the late 90s.
In 1998 - 1999, Erica lent her voiceover talent to Atlanta’s Kiss 104.7 where she did voiceover work for such clients as Campbell Soup, Vicks cough drops, Excedrin, Washington Apples, Caldwell Banker, and Kars Yes.
In October of 1998, Erica landed a job as Chief Master Control Operator for UPN69 Atlanta where she also used her voiceover talent for UPNs music video show entitled “American Music Makers” produced by Arnell Starr, watched by over one million viewers every Saturday night. After developing a solid working relationship with the producer, Erica was asked to do more voiceover work for another music video show entitled “The Planet Rock” seen in several major cities across the U.S and she advanced to doing film promotions for such movies as “The Scorpion King”, “Dragonfly”, “John Q”, “A.I.”, “The Kings of Comedy”, “13 Ghosts”, and “The One”.
In the 90s, Erica developed an interest in acting and has appeared in such films as “The Hank Aaron Story and HBOs “Shackels” starring Morgan Fairchild. Erica also appeared in several episodes of Aaron Spelling’s primetime television series entitled “Savannah”.
Recently, Erica was cast as an Extra in the current film “We are Marshall” and the upcoming film “Stomp The Yard”.
Finally, there is yet another desire that is added to the list of talents that Erica possesses. It is her undying love to write music. In 2006, Erica entered the song entitled "Far Away" in the "Song Of The Year" contest sponsored by VH-1 of which placed as "runner-up". And now from her first CD project entitled "Piano Magic", this song is available on the CD Baby Website.
