Drew’s experience and innovative style have been a part of the Hip Hop and Trip Hop cultural movement for over a decade, where he has redefined the music he loves.. As a producer, Drew’s unique sound, a blend that is eclectic, innovative and euphoric in style and intonation, is incomparable to the mainstream.
Using his expertise, determination and passion for music, Drew can assess an artist’s energy, talent and skill and change ordinary into extraordinary. A visionary, he utilizes his personal life experiences and achievements to develop such artists as Jungle Heads, Nile, Deja and Jackie O. He has also worked with Drum and Bass artists Goldie, Groove Rider and Adam F; Trip Hop artist Martina Topley-Bird; Alternative Pop group Travis; and Grammy nominated artist Bjork.
Life’s ups and downs have humbled Drew and inspired him to give back to music and art devotees everywhere by opening Area 61 Music Workshop in 2004. Here, with a loyal team of apprentices and music aficionados, Drew gives up and coming artists a venue where they may discover, explore, nurture and showcase their talent.
