MP3 Sat Nirmal Kaur Khalsa - Jaap Sahib

Traditional Sikh/Punjabi music with a modern, western upbeat and Spanish Guitar

2 MP3 Songs
WORLD: Asian, NEW AGE: Meditation

Details:
This new musical version of Guru Gobind Singh''s Jaap Sahib is unlike any other. With the accompaniment of a Spanish guitar, this powerful poem and mantra reaches beyond all cultures and religions, joining us together in one universal prayer to usher in the Aquarian Age and bring peace to the earth, hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak and compassion to all living creatures.

The Jaap Sahib was composed by Guru Gobind Singh (the 10th and last Sikh Master) in 1685 at the age of 19. Jaap means to utter or chant, and Guru Gobind Singh''s Jaap Sahib is comprised of 199 verses, containing 950 descriptive names of the Formless Divine Being. Sometimes he describes God in negative terms defining what He is not, and other times he beautifully exalts the positive attributes of the One. Guru Gobind Singh embodied kindness and courage, meditation and action in one amazing man the likes of whom the world has not witnessed before or after.

Ajai Alai is contained in the Jaap Sahib as the 2nd to last section and is added as a separate track on this CD for a special 11 minute meditation. Ajai Alai is a mantra of peace and healing. It has the power to break through all blocks and negativity.

The vocals and musical accompaniment on this CD will bring ease and joy to learning and singing Jaap Sahib.
