Ellen Oakes Kerr is a Western NY-based guitarist/singer-songwriter who performs solo as well as with her band. Her poetic lyrics are brought to life by her magnetic vocal style and strong guitar playing. Whether a moving, finger-picked melody or a hard strumming, band-backed performance, she attracts every kind of listener. Her original music combines folk/rock with country and even mixes in a bit of reggae. "Gracious Fire" is her fifth album and features her top-notch band on seven of the nine tracks.
