After years of classical, contemporary and jazz flute studies, Heather Taylor is emerging as an alternative artist. Her journey into the eclectic music scene began soon after graduating the Crane School of Music during her independent trip through Europe. This journey took a surprising turn when she started to meet musicians who asked her to join them in pubs, street venues and on stage around Scotland and Ireland. With a Traditional Irish flute on her back, she was led to many experiences that served to expand her perspective on improvisational playing. Heather aspires to continue collaborating with artists of varied genres in the future.
