Details:
Canton, Ohio: Renelle’s roots are deep in this city where she was born. Her mother and father, Wilbur A. Hall and Marguerite Louise (Beem) Hall are Canton natives, and her grandparents, Ethel and Hollis Beem, were teachers at Canton Actual Business College. Although Renelle’s family moved away from Canton before she started into first grade, she has lived there as an adult. She and Whitey Wannemacher were married in Canton, and their show bands, Second Generation and The Wanamakers were based in Canton. “I Stand for Canton” reflects Renelle’s life in Canton and her appreciation for everything that city is doing to support and promote the artists.
