Roderick White, also known as was born in Houston, TX , at the age of 3 he moved to Beaumont, TX where he lived an attended school until he graduated from High School. He then moved back to Houston, TX where he quickly started working toward his dream of being a musical influence in today’s American culture. Golden gained his passion for music at a young age when he realized he had an ear for listening to a beat and coming up with a catchy phrase to go with it. He would always say “I don’t know how to rap, but I know I can rap”. He started rapping with his family and friends, creating songs from beats that would have everyone around him singing. He quickly became known as “Golden Chyle”, a play off of a term he knew he could live up to. After some years, he removed the “Chyle” from his name. In his early twenties he began putting his songs on paper, recording his music and making CDs that everyone could enjoy outside of his presence. His humorous personality and confident style always shines through his music. His philosophy has always been to “Think Positive and Positive Things Will Happen to You. You have to believe that the things you want to happen will happen, and then they always will.”
