Album artwork was created by Andrew Pritikin of Blank Studio and printed by Bison Bookbinding and Letterpress.
Snug Harbor loves to bring rhythm and soul to the masses and "Snug Harbor" the album stands to prove it. "Snug Harbor" begins with a punchy, fun ode to the city of Bellingham, WA in the song Lucky''s Uncle. The second track sounds like a death metal song with the name Maggot Rain, but is actually named after the unfortunate demise of a rat in the ceiling above where the band practiced, which happened to coincide with the creation of the previous unnamed song. It Is What it Is constitutes the albums first true cover song, written by Melvin Sparks. Abominable Snowflake is a rock and soul power anthem that could only have been composed by the band''s guitarist Mark "Stallion Mane" Lorenz. The midway point in the album, Prove Me Wrong, begins smooth and bluesy then builds to the "Galactic Breakdown" sections which are partially inspired by Haydn''s Surprise Symphony. Grooved Grease is an upbeat rhythmic jam that changes it''s flavor like the the earth changes seasons. Deal With it, originally composed by Joel Ricci and Mark "Stallion Mane" Lorenz has been preformed by some of Bellingham''s best funk bands including La Push and Lucky Brown. Now, Snug Harbor has thrown it''s hat into the ring by putting it''s own twist on it and re-recording the local classic. Sean Song is the only ballad on the record and was written by Will Glazier and Stallion Mane. The song is an ode to Sean Galliher, a trumpet player, friend, and inspiration to Will. The song is dedicated to the entire Galliher family and their loss. To pick things back up, Jug Eyes is a hard hitting, upbeat dance song. Originally composed by Gene Ammons, Snug Harbor plays Jug Eyes in their own arrangement. The album ends with Palmyra Peak, the pinnacle of collaboration for Snug Harbor as it features Caine of Seattle based band Coldnote. With Caine''s vocals over Justin Smith''s immediately recognizable song writing, Palmyra Peak could be destined to be the hit of the album.
