Mahaprabhu Deep Bhajan Band
Mahaprabhu Deep Bhajan Band was founded in spring 2009 in Mahaprabhu Deep Ashram in Edinburgh by Madhuram.
Madhuram has been sharing the chants and spiritual songs (bhajans and kirtans) taught to him by his Master with people from diverse cultures and spiritual traditions in Edinburgh, as well as in London, continental Europe and India. The use of mantras, chants, bhajan and kirtan is an integral part of his own spiritual practice.
This band is open for all who would like to join.

About Bhajans:
The word bhajan comes from the Sanskrit root bhaj, meaning “to worship”. Bhajans are spiritual songs composed by great souls who achieved oneness with God in their human life. It is with immense love of God and a wish to awaken others to His glory, that the great Saints (who come from diverse spiritual backgrounds) compose bhajans. Each bhajan is a spiritual teaching and an expression of the Saint''s spirit of selfless service to all of creation.
