MIRAN DAVID
Blessed with the gift of song, Miran David, a multi–faceted singer, songwriter, and producer, knows the true meaning of the scripture: “A man’s gift maketh room for him… (Proverbs 18:16). Through faith and perseverance, he is able to share his passion for music. The oldest of four children, Miran David grew up in a singing family, in which going to church every Sunday was a priority; and within the church is where Miran David learned to perfect his gift. The meaning of music to Miran David, as he puts it best is, “ A beautiful gift of God given to me to share with others. It is that haven and extra peace when things surrounding me are chaotic. It’s a passion that I now use to share the message and inspiration of God with others.”
God being his ultimate inspiration, Miran David attributes his greatest musical influences to Prince, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, his longtime friend and music producer
D-Moet, and his high school music teacher, the late Gerry Kaplan.
Prior to switching gears from R&B/Hip–Hop to Urban Inspirational music, Miran David, formerly known as “DAV”, has worked with and been under the tutelage of music professionals such as: David “Pic” Conley (formerly of the R&B group Surface); former Atlantic Records CEO, Sylvia Rhone and head of A&R, Merlin Bob; former CEO of Arista Records and current head of J Records, Clive Davis; former artist and producer Kashif; music producer, Anthony “D-Moet” Moody; NY’s Hot 97 radio personalities, Dennis “Big Dennis” Rivera and Funkmaster Flex to name a few. He has recently provided his vocal and musical gifts and talents on an independent film project, “Book Of Songs” as both an artist and music producer. He also makes a brief cameo in the film.
Miran David looks forward to sharing the music that God has richly blessed him with and hopes that it will inspire people to reflect, meditate, and ultimately seek a sincere relationship with the Lord.
