The Jordan Gatenby Orchestra is a funk/pop/rock band in Atlanta Georgia and when they heard the Lady Gaga hit, “Bad Romance,” they were simply mesmerized. Those present during this first listening say Jordan fell his knees exclaiming that this song will change the world and this band will lead the way. When the band members and others explained to him that the song was already recorded and a hit… their version would simply be a cover, Jordan’s face went blank and appears not to understand this concept even today.
Many close to the band are concerned that Jordan’s obsession with the song and his belief that he is Lady Gaga has spiraled out of control… to a point of no return if you will. The band however has pressed on, now releasing it as a single. For better or worse.
