Those Gulls are steadily carving out their place in the Canadian music scene with Andrew Grosvenor’s agressive, driving
guitar riffs and introspective lyrics, Pierce McKinnery’s growling, effortlessly-executed basslines, and Peter Zachar’s tireless, powerful drum beats.
Beginning as a two-piece shoegaze recording outfit in 2007 with Andrew and Peter, Those Gulls have evolved into an all-out rock ensemble since the addition of Pierce in 2009. They have now finished work on their third, self-titled album to be released in the summer of 2011.
Those Gulls’ live show brings an unrelenting intensity to the stage. Coupled with their undeniable friendship and chemistry, the trio is guaranteed to take any audience under their wing for an evening of feverish, breathless, and engaging rock and roll!
