This song was inspired by a 40 day fast that I completed in 2010. I was led to express my experience through this song. Although its not wordy, it is a song to feel and still get what i was going through during the fast. I realized that it is very important to spend time with our Creator to learn more of ourselves and be spiritually cleansed. So as I fasted, I desired to know my purpose and it was fulfilled. I was blessed after the fast and writing the song and my desire is that it blesses someone else Because we do know that a blessing is not to be kept to ourselves.
