The songs ''For You’ve Touched Me'' and ''Hold Me'' have been written from Angela’s heart. She is passionate in her love of music, composition and her faith in God and has captured her experiences and combined these three passions into the CD. It is her desire to transport the listeners into the presence of the Spirit of God. Angela has meticulously crafted these arrangements along with Phil Tweed (recording engineer/co-producer) and Joanna Melas (vocalist/co-producer) to highlight the depth of worship. These songs evoke a sense of intimacy with the Lord. To everyone who is hungering after God, the songs will prepare them for a beautiful time of meditation.
Angela writes: “The songs ''For You’ve Touched Me'' and ''Hold Me'' represent and express how I came into an awakening of God in my heart and life.
I grew up in Malaysia where there were many different cultures and each culture generally had its own religion. I was born into a Chinese family where my father called himself a free thinker while the majority of Chinese Malaysians were Buddhists. When I was 12 years of age I wanted to know what would happen to me if I died the next day and in my search I decided to pray, ‘If there is a God and You exist, please show Yourself to me’. At the age of 13, I had an encounter which changed my life – my experience was like that of swimming in the ocean – total refreshment.
I’ve summed up the Christian Gospel in a song called Hold Me. When I became a Christian I felt like I had a Father I could talk to and run to. It brings me back into a relationship with Father God for eternity, which is the good news of the Gospel. That’s why I finished Hold Me with ‘Father of Light’ because He puts hope, love, security and comfort back into my heart. He is the Light at the end of the tunnel.
You get more of what you focus on. These inspired songs will bring you into focus with God, the Creator of the universe.”

Angela grew up in a house by the beach in Malacca, Malaysia, off the Straits of Malacca. Her two brothers both played piano and guitar and led their own bands which specialised in the music of Elton John and The Beatles. The family’s musical talents extended to her two sisters who became piano teachers. Angela who also displayed talent in both music and sport took piano lessons for a few years while at school in Malaysia during which time she often played for chapel time. It was at one of these chapel lessons that Angela at the age of 13 became a Christian.
On the eve of her birthday in 1994, the Rev Dr Vernon Falls of International Lifeline Ministries California gave her the following message “The Lord has placed many songs in your heart. I see the worship anointing being poured on you …” The following year she attended the Christian Teaching and Worship Center in Boston and upon playing the first few bars of her song ''For You’ve Touched Me'', the anointing fell on the people.
Angela recently decided to record ''For You’ve Touched Me'' along with another worship song she wrote called ''Hold Me''. Both songs have been crafted lyrically and musically as one being meditative and melodic in mood. Angela believes that the melodies in these songs carry the messages like “inspired contemporary psalms”. Music sheets are available for both songs at https://www.tradebit.com.
Angela chose Joanna Melas as the vocalist because she believes that Joanna sings from the heart in an unpretentious and honest manner and her endearing beautiful voice immerses the listener in the music. Joanna has a special gift to lead people into an intimate encounter with the Spirit as they are invited to enter and are caught up in the anointing of these songs.
Joanna is a very talented singer/songwriter, musician and producer. She has recently recorded a 10 track album called ''A Natural Selection'' which features 3 of her original songs ''Danca da Shuva'', ''We Had No Cares'', ''Such As These''. Joanna has performed in the USA, New Zealand and Australia and was music director/worship leader of a prominent city church in Sydney. She performs regularly as a solo artist and fronting a band to packed houses in many venues around Sydney and is in continual demand.
