Title : Love At First Fire
Jemima Puddle-Duck is a band that soared in Colorado and throughout Southern California in the late 70''s. Love At First Fire contains their original unreleased "Duck" tracks recorded at Richard Perry''s legendary Studio 55 In Hollywood.
Hailing from such disparate burgs as Hayes, Kansas ; Brooklyn, New York ; Northridge and Sunland-Tujunga, California, the five itinerant musicians comprising the band joined forces on a shepherd''s ranch near Oak Creek, Colorado, and managed to concoct a brew of rich, four-part harmony simmering atop Country Rock melodies and grooves. The band did numerous shows with Delbert McClinton, Kinky Friedman, the Pure Prarie League and the Amazing Rhythm Aces.
Michael Amitin''s "Pine In The Wind", the single off Love at First Fire generated an abundance of national radio airplay, and was highlighted as a regional breakout by Billboard magazine.
Producer Ron Hitchcock and the band create a subtle sonic adventure celebrating a distinctly American song that''s guaranteed to transport you back to the illusion of a simpler time.
"This band is the real seventies article"
Mary McGregor (Torn Between Two Lovers)
"Like sittin'' by a Rocky Mountain stream in mid-July"
Michael Thompson (Keyboard player for Eagles Hell Freezes Over)
