Details:
"Foundation" - a brief but moving virtual orchestral opening. "Desolate" - a distant sound with steady drums, movement on top of that, and interesting solos. "Gentle" - synth strings, guitar, drums, with emotion and changes. Gentle does not mean wimpy. "Slither" - string orchastration but somewhat subjugated to the beat and ethereal mood. "Three More" - emotive and interesting virtual-orchestra (mostly) change-up - what is that other instrument? "Calling" - sound wave sounding like . . . waves; with a steady bass line (until near the end) and then thick synth/orchestral/horn-type overplay. "Heavy" - mellow electronic beat with synth strings playing off each other at times, bass, and sax and organ roles later. "Flash" - drums and synth pad, bass, additional percussion; restraint is the word; big decision - what to fill some of those voids with - how about some occasional sparse percussion? "Slow" - subtle, very relaxing - you can dance to this, but only in slow motion. "The Way It Is" - an ending to the album - less structure, more free, emotive - also very nice. Listen.
