Details:
The band started making noise in their hometown of Melbourne in 2004 (as The Attachments) at the instigation of drummer Glen Sayers, and under the influences of bands like Teenage Fanclub and The Beatles. Joined by Alfred Daniel (who has worked on albums with Curse Ov Dialect and Even) together with his brother Matt Daniel and Nick Tumney (both from The Fold), the perfect gang had formed and The Bell Parade was born.
Honing their unique style of well-crafted lyrics teamed with nostalgic and beautifully-layered melodies on stages around Melbourne, the four-piece developed a sound that has been likened to The Lemonheads.
Harmonies were tuned, choruses crooned and bridges built, and before long The Bell Parade had the beginnings of an album. Masterfully self-produced, with final mixing done by Tim Johnston (The Waifs, Spazzys), The Bell Parade’s charismatic first album will keep ringing warmly in your ears long after you hear it.
In fact, it''s the soundtrack you''ll hear next time you whistle!
