TAXED ENOUGH by DANNY MOTE
Produced by Opal Records
Recorded at Crystal Sound Recording Studio
This album starts with a song written by Danny Mote, "Taxed Enough". It comes from today''s
economic problems in America today, with many Americans not happy with the burden of being
heavely taxed on their homes, income, and everything they buy. Many Americans are not happy
with our goverment, the republicans nor the democrates. The T E A "Taxed Enough Already" move-
ment is trying to push our goverment to uphold our constitution the way it is written, and clean up
the coruption in our goverment, from the cities, counties, states and all the way to Washington, D.C.
The song say''s it''s time to take our country back, let''s join T E A. It inculdes many phrases that
people are saying around the country, including, "I guess they''ll even tax me when I die." The song
does have lots of humor in it, with an upbeat and catchy melody. You''ll enjoy it everytime you hear it.
Another song on this album was written by Danny Mote, recorded and released in 1961 on Vee Jay
Records. After all these years, Danny has re-recorded "Done You Wrong" with more of today''s
style. He sings and plays piano, and sax on the cutt. Also included are some strong hits originally
released by Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Alan Jackson, Hanks Williams, Sr. and Ray Charles. You
can hear and feel some of these super stars'' styles in these recordings which when put together
developes the style Danny Mote sings and plays today.
The last song on this album is the great gospel song, "How Great Thou Art" which puts everyone on
their feet, no matter where Danny sings it.
All music was played by Danny Mote.
