Baritone, Dr. Warren Fremling has been a professional singer for 50 years. Primarily a classical singer, his forays into folk music stem from the 60''s and the American folk music revival. An active recitalist and oratorio singer, he has over 300 performances in opera, several hundred in musical theater in addition to his oratorio and recital work. He has appeared at the Ravinia Festival, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Chicago Opera Theater, National Educational Television, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and as a guest artist at colleges and universities throughout the Midwest. Dr. Fremling produced this album at the request of his daughter, Katie, who has since had twins - a boy and a girl, the first grandchildren. She wanted a recording of the things he sang to she and her brother, Matt, at bedtime when they were little.
