Details:
Wayneroy was born on September 28th in George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. He started performing at the tender age of 5. His father, Wintroy Randal, was a Musician/Engineer/Producer himself and like the saying goes "The apple never falls far from the tree", Wayneroy picked up the music like he was born to do it. He grew up in the church sitting at his mothers feet while she sang on the church choir. At times the choir would have an abrupt ending but Wayneroy would still be singing away. As he got older he started playing the drums in church as well. He also played in school for the Jazz Band and Steel Pan Band for school productions. Between the ages of 12-17, Wayneroy opened for some of the biggest names in gospel music, not only in the Caribbean but in the US as well. Hes opened for Gospel Artists like the Great Evangelist Shirley Caesar (seen in the movie Fighting Temptations), Larnell Harris, The Grace Thrillers, Judy Moat, Papa San and Yolanda Adams. In 1996, while in Louisville Kentucky for a church function Wayneroy was approached by the Youth Musical Coordinator for the C.G.P. to actually play for Bebe and CeCe Winans in the Nation Convention in front of a crowd of over 30 thousand. Other artists include Gyptian, Shaggy and Mario.

In 1998 Wayneroy was given the opportunity to fly to London, England to sing. This was just another stepping stone for the young artist as he was only 14 at the time. He spent 2 and half months in London embracing its multi-diverse culture and assisting his cousin Yvette in composing music. Working with Yvette was different for Wayneroy at the time because his style of music was mainly Gospel and Yvette was more R&B and Pop. After leaving London, Wayneroy flew back to the Cayman Islands to focus on his education and finishing high school.

It wasn''t until 2005 that Wayneroy did something major in music again. A local communications (Cable & Wireless) company on the Island put together their version of the popular Network TV''s ''American Idol'' known as Star Quest. Wayneroy was one of 10 finalist listed to compete for a cash prize of $10,000. Wayneroy unfortunately did not win the competition but his abilities caught the attention of one of the executive producers of the show (Paul Hudson) who approached him about doing a record. Paul Hudson was also a producer for a company called The Hit Depot which produced Wayneroy''s first R&B record entitled "Don''t Ever Go". After the record was complete, it caught the attention of the other 2 producers in the company and they didn''t waste anytime in signing the young Artist/Musician/Producer.

It was not long after, that Wayneroy''s single "Don''t Ever Go" also caught the attention of Interscope/Greffen A&R Tony Ferguson who met with Wayneroy and discussed that he had the potential to be something fresh and new for the industry. The Interscope representative was interested in Wayneroy as he also had a look that would sell. Wayneroy however, thought it best to stay with the company he had already signed with and help build it into something.

In 2009 The Hit Depot fell apart, but Wayneroy continued to pursue his own musical career as he thought he was not reaching his full potential even while signed to the company. He began producing and writing for artist all across the Caribbean and South Florida. He started writing and producing for his first solo album in that same year after receiving a phone call from a fan who expressed that his music moved people and he should seriously consider doing a project. The Album ''Older than I Look'' production started in July of ''09.

Wayneroy''s musicianship continued even while producing his album. In December ''09 he played drums for Andrea Rivera and opened for the amazing and very talented Alicia Keys. In January 2010, Haiti, a neighbor island to the artist suffered massive destruction after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake shock the island. Wayneroy was asked to produce a song which would include 13 of the Cayman Islands top artist. The song Haiti Keep the Faith played religiously on every radio station island wide and also gained interest from a Canadian Media group doing volunteer work in Haiti at the time.

The Album ''Older than I Look'' is set to be released April 2011, and is promised to be something exceptionally great to listen to. Every song on the album was written and produced by Wayneroy and is a lifes experience captured in a 13 track LP.
