Adonis is a group of four men, each from a different area. J. Maurice, 22, was born in St. Louis, MO and raised in Chicago, IL. Terrence Johnson, 21, was born in St. Louis, MO as well, but raised in Raleigh, NC. Trav Spin, 21, was born in Greensboro, NC where he was also raised. Brandon Alonzo, 23, was born in Maryland where he was also raised. The four had a chance to meet in college, as they all sang in the choir. J. Maurice had written a song for a four-man group and, after hearing their voices in choir, he reached out to these guys to create a group for a one-time performance. After the performance generated screams, a standing ovation, and immediate fans, it was decided they would become a group. Since, they have been performing all over the North Carolina area with near-future bookings all over the country (coming to a city near you)! Each member writes and produces music. This song was written by the main writer of the group, J. Maurice, though the upcoming album will feature at least one song written by each member.
