After relocating from her birth place of Drew Mississippi to Chicago; music started for Allie at the age of nine, in the churches on the Westside of Chicago. She’s gone on to become one of the well known seasoned Blues Artists in the Los Angeles area. Allie has been featured and traveled throughout California and the Los Angles area to such places as, Mammoth, Nevada & Utah with her band, Allie & the Delta Disciples. Her first CD, ‘The Delta Swamp Stomp’ was recorded in 1995 with guitarist Any Milukoff. Being discovered in the Blue Café in Long Beach, she was invited to be the first female to sing in the Morrison’s Café in Tahiti in 2001 and 2002 for the New Years Eve Galas. She recorded her second CD, ''The Mississippi Hightower’s Band, with a Feminine Touch’. included in this collection is five songs she wrote. Allie is also featured in the 2003 Documentary, Long Live the Blues, with the late James Norton, Louisiana Redd, and Deacon Jones. With othe local musicians. She is an actress of the theater, as well as a writer of stage productions and short stories. She was featured in the musicals, Sweetwater Blues, and Lula’s Place in LA in the 90''s and ‘A Cry for Help’, a drama in Chicago. Some of her most satifying singing endeavor was to be the featured entertainer for Illinois’s Congressman Danny K. Davis fundraiser in Chicago. Allie received the 2006 Black Heritage Image Award for her Excellence in Blues Heritage Performances and was just recently inducted into the Mahogany Scholarship Foundation’s Hall of Fame in Chicago.
