Ellen Sweetman has been teaching over 20 years as a Montessori teacher, choir director and classroom music teacher. She has also taught private piano and vocal lessons. She holds a https://www.tradebit.comm Southeastern Louisisna University, Montessori certification and a lifetime teaching certificate. When not in the classroom with music, Ellen loves to perform; most recently as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard Of Oz and a Pick-A Little lady from The Music Man! Her students have just finished production of a world premier children’s musical, “A Drum, A Drum”. Ellen loves to present at conferences!

She currently teaches music to over 700 students in the Hammond Public Schools, choir director at First United Methodist Church in Ponchatoula, Louisiana and officer in her local Orff chapter, Red Stick.
