I became passionate about music at a very young age. I was raised in Mexico as a missionary kid, and whenever we visited churches, we were frequently requested for special music in Spanish. Thus began my love for performance and music. Through my teen years, I was heavily involved with church music, but found that I would get bored of the same songs. So, I started to create music of my own. I sought exposure through coffeeshop venues and churches.
I would describe my music as true to feeling. Every person feels sad, happy, angry, etc. When I write a song, I am true to the emotion that the song is trying to express. Sometimes the song may not end happy, but that is only because sometimes we can''t see the sunrise that will come after the sunset. But if the song is happy, then I try to express that happiness in its truest and purest form.
