BIOGRAPHY
Moses The Prophet grew up in Compton California, gangbanging and dope dealing was the life he had chosen. While Destroying peoples lives as well as his own, Moses was without hope. Later life and time caught up with him and he was sentenced to sixteen months in the penitentiary.
One evening while he was asleep- God visited him in his dreams, He saw nobody only hearing a voice saying drink from this cup the blood of Jesus Christ. Then a mighty rushing wind came and he awakened.
Moses always had the natural talent to reach people through rapping. A couple of artist he worked with were Mausberg (R.I.P) and Sugar Free. Moses rapped under the stage name Geno Gotti, Born Ulysses he now goes by the name of Moses The Prophet using the word of God as his Inspiration with Hard-Hitting Rhymes.
Moses expresses “The man I am today is a very different man then I was living yesterday’s lifestyle; I am happily married now I’m a father and a husband, of which I am proud! In retrospect, when I look at my early childhood, which was one without a father figure, and a dysfunctional household, it is easy now to see that one should not live their life by their own rules. Without guidance I was caught up in a street lifestyle that was not only destructive but also one that was against the laws of society. This way of life cost me about a year of freedom. During this time I found peace reading the Bible and developed a close walk with God.
Since then I have made a solemn promise to reach out to all youths of society, with a profound passion to dispel the myths about the glamour of a “hood life.” I understand these young men and women’s pain because I was there.
I am truly sorry for all my past mistakes; however, I am convinced that my mistakes can be a positive testimony in other young peoples lives, by patiently reaching out to them in their time of need in a way that they can understand and relate to.”
Over the last seven years Moses The Prophet has ministered in over 500 churches, across the country. He speaks at Juvenile Halls, prisons, church outreach programs, and drug rehabilitation facilities spreading a word of hope to the lost, encouraging each that life is so much better walking within the skin of the law, abiding by the laws set forth by our society to maintain peace as well as the laws of God that instills Hope, Peace, Joy, Compassion, Love, empathy and a will to live a decent life, with society, family and loved ones.
