Ready to rip it up? Fundamental Djembe SOLOS teaches you riffs and phrases to help your solos sound fantastic. This unique instructional recording is in call-and-echo format: every time the lead djembe plays a solo phrase, there is room for you to play it back. Ten Play-Along instructional tracks, a performance track, a welcome track, and the final track of full accompaniment rhythms (without a lead drum) for you to practice your solo however you want. SOLOS has everything you need to sound like a pro.
Each of the solo phrases are demonstrated at a moderate tempo, then played again at faster tempos, enabling you to learn and practice at the speed that is best for you. All tracks feature the lead djembe drum supported by bells, dunun (bass drums), and accompanying djembes, so you practice playing your leads within a full ensemble. You learn universal elements you can combine in an infinite variety of arrangements and sequences, and all of the info is modular, so you are free to play around with it.
The Fundamental Djembe SOLOS project was tested and critiqued by numerous associates, professional drummers, facilitators and instructors during its creation, so the final result is a fantastic instructional tool. The quality of the recording is awesome: all the drums sound vibrant and crystal clear.
Fundamental Djembe SOLOS is great drum music to listen to, and an excellent educational tool for you to develop your soloing skills.
