COUNTRY: Country Folk, COUNTRY: Country Rock

Details:
David Rebb Firman lives in Lemon Cove California, population 564. He owns a pollination business and a spice business and seems to bordering on becoming a hermit. David grew up in Wenatchee, Washington. He has won numerous song writing awards and has had a song on CBS Television. This is his second album. He has many songs with publishers in Nashville and LA and is hopeful one day they might actually get a cut . The album was recorded at Harwood Productions in Hercules, California. Kevin Harris played all the instruments except the acoustic guitars and harmonica.

David is single and fifty-two. He is addicted to song writing and does not seem to want help for it. He is relationship impaired, has heard "if you would only take your ADD meds I could live with you," oh and "If you didn''t snore" line more times than he can take. He is hoping for a shallow meaningless relationship, but is debating the meaning of that. This album started with some inspiration from a new love, but the love ended the month it was finished. She has her addictions as well, and does not seem to want help for it either. Yes she really does do backflips on her trampoline if you are wondering about the lyric on "I''m Going Home."

I have been inspired by "Wild" Bill Brezensky of Holler Flat North Dakota, and Homer "Homeboy" Howard of Skinny Dip Alaska. Both have taught me to keep going despite living in small towns and being older and more cantankerous than the majority of singer song writers. "Wild" Bills style has mellowed some since his days at North Dakota State where he dated the only female hockey goalie in the history of the school. She had one good tooth he like to point out. Howard is hopeful that global warming will thaw the river enough so by twenty-ten there may be a place for the local Polar Bear Club to take a New Year''s Eve skinny dip, and live up to the towns unusual name choice. I hope he lives long enough to see the day, he''s had a rough few years recovering from a surprise grizzly attack. He still has enough fingers to play with a pick, though it did crimp his finger picking style. If you are ever up that way be sure to stop by the Bear Trap Bar and Polar Bear Club and ask for Homer, he might play a song or two if he still remembers them.
