If You Could Be Calm About Being Angry, What Would It Be Like?
Anger Management by Positive Imaging and Music
Anger exists in everyone. It is one of the first emotions mothers recognize in their newborn infants. Throughout your life, as the grown-up version of that frustrated infant, it will be necessary to calmly communicate your anger and appropriately stop what is going on you do not want. It’s never too early or too late to learn anger management. This CD is an audio program designed to enhance your ability to relax and manage your anger. It will teach you to transform your conflicts into opportunities for communication and solutions. You’ll find out why admitting that you are wrong is better than venting. Taking control of areas you can control, and letting go of the areas you cannot control, will greatly reduce the problems you encounter because of your anger.
Contents
Track 1 Presents an overview of the “flight or fight” mechanism of anger. It explains the necessity of changing ones thoughts to be calm about being angry. The use of music to help soothe and relax the listener is addressed. 11:31
Track 2 Teaches you how to manage your anger by first learning relaxation to reduce the intensity of your anger. Then, by learning positive thoughts and actions, you can face the people and situations which in the past led to outbursts of anger. 31:26

Please note: Anger can be related to many medical and psychological conditions. A thorough assessment by your physician and/or mental health professional is highly recommended, and in no way can this CD be used as a substitute for such an evaluation.
