About Under the Porch
Under the Porch, or UTP as their fans refer to them, formed their current line up in the fall of 2009. Based out of Atlanta GA, the band emits a wave of soulfully driven sound that is evident in their debut studio album, “"At the Station"”, released in the fall of 2010. The evolution of UTP music is a constant, much like change. The new members of the band have infused excitement into the current lineup and have breathed new life into UTP.
While playing most of their shows in the southeastern United States, Under the Porch continues to leave soulful vibrations in its wake as they venture to other parts of the country. Music lovers are drawn to Under the Porch''’s unconventional sound, and as they approach the next bend, these guys intend on bringing the audience a continuously evolving UTP sound with music that compels you to listen and music that just makes you wanna dance!

Taking cues from an endless list of musical genres, Under the Porch creates an ever-changing musical environment. Their Rock n Roll, Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Rhythm & Blues mix is accented with soulful vocals and deep-rooted lyrics generating a sound that is all their own. They play popular and rare covers, but it''s their original material that separates them from everyone else.
Under the Porch is known to draw a great deal of kinetic energy from their crowd. Michael Blair''s (lead vocal/guitar) unique voice works well with the band''s dynamic playing. Gary Paulo (guitar/saxophone/vocals) is a unique and extremely versatile saxophonist. Justin Gargala (drums) and Ayinde Bryant (bass/vocals), make up the rhythm section. While John Post (keyboards) completes the sound they call UTP music.
