Brian Odle Biography
Born in Chanute, Kansas, Brian got an early taste for Country Music. Brian listened to Country Music before he could talk, and began identifying with the lyrics at an early age. Brian chose an occupation that would have him on the road for many hours a day singing along with the Country Music Legends like Merle Haggard, George Strait and many other influences that Brian has looked up to.
Brian''s love and respect for music as a whole inspired him to chase his dream. After winning several talent contests locally as well as in other states, Brian went to enter a contest in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. There, Dwight Johnson, a promoter and talent scout, approached Brian about his ability to capture the audience. Dwight suggested that he go to Nashville and REALLY learn the business. Brian did just that, and met with the great songwriters to include Pat Durbin and Tom Paden. Brian has since built a strong friendship with both writers, and has written with Tom Paden, Pat Durban and other well known song writers.
Since this time, Brian purchased ''Country Land, Inc.'' (Northwest Arkansas only live Country Music Venue). Brian and his band, ''The Dealers", play throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Tennessee area. They draw a huge crowd and have gained a large following which has earned them many return appearances. Brian decided to create his own project and Tom Paden was happy to produce it in Nashville. Brian, Tom, and Mark Chaney wrote the title song, ''My Strongest Weakness''. It demonstrates Brian''s ability to not only write a great Country song, but to perform it as well.
Brian has been working on his dream and becoming very successful at it. Recently, on September 2, 2005, Brian Odle opened for Lee Ann Womack. Then on September 8, 2005, he opened for his all time favorite, Merle Haggard. Brian has shared the stage with many legends like Joe Diffie, Daryl Worley, Mark Chestnut, David Ball, and Wade Hayes, just to name a few. Brian has been noted by many as ''A legend in the making''.
