Their debut CD entitled “Twang” garnered rave reviews throughout the guitar world. Following-up on the
success of “Twang” is their latest CD- "Tele-Pathic" which has already received critical acclaim from such industry publications as: Vintage Guitar, 20th Century Guitar, Pipeline, Guitar Player, Guitar-Nine and the list keeps growing.
Both albums have also enjoyed considerable airplay on indy radio stations as far flung as: WRFG in Atlanta, GA; KFJC in Los Altos, CA; WCNI in New London, CT just to name a few.
Even with two great albums to their credit, it is still their live performances that must be seen to be believed. The Matt Rae Trio has "delivered the goods" to audiences from Philadelphia''s World Cafe Live, to New York''s Town Crier, to Connecticut''s Acoustic Cafe, Reddind Roadhouse, Sono Arts Celebration and The Norwalk Oyster Festival (all in the band''s own back yard of Norwalk CT).
Matt has held the second guitarist seat in the Arlen Roth band and has shared stages and recorded with such guitar luminaries as: Debbie Davies, Johnny A, Levon Helm, Commander Cody, Redd Volkaert and Forrest Lee Jr. to name a few.
Matt has also been chosen as an endorsee from Peavey Musical Instrument Co. also a great honor.
