Details:
Jason Green is a native of Northeast Arkansas. He was born and raised in Blytheville, where along with cotton and soybeans, Jason’s love for music was cultivated. He is the youngest of two children.
At a very young age, Jason was showing an interest in sharing a love with his father, a love for country music. He was always singing around the house. His love for singing continued to grow until he finally began to share his talent with family and friends at the age of fifteen. He still loves singing at family gatherings and with his father. Jason has been inspired by many of country music greats. Singers such as: Merle Haggard, Hanks Williams Jr. and Vern Gosdin all have influenced his song style and selection. While Jason was growing up, his father taught him how to play rhythm guitar. His dad played the guitar in bands around Northeast Arkansas until last year when he started playing for Jason. Jason could always be found somewhere in the wings during jam sessions and gigs.
It wasn’t until later in life that Jason decided that music is what he wanted his career to be. Jason has been signed with Platinum Plus Universal Records for a little over a year now. Jason is currently working with Hall of Fame Producer Robert Metzgar of Nashville, TN. Jason has been working hard on his debut album, The Party, released in late June 2006. The first single from the album, Rock in My Cowboy Boots, is set for release in early August 2006. Some writers on the album include: Gretchen Wilson, John Rich (of “Big &Rich”), Joe Diffie, and Pam Tillis.
Along with his love for music, Jason also enjoys playing baseball with his nephews and watching his favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals, as well as other sports. With the album now finished Jason is looking forward to going out on the road and touring later this fall
Jason Green Performs at Gibson Showcase
Theater
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) June 14, 2005 -- The opening day of Fan Fair 2005 in Nashville was celebrated indoors on June 9th-10th, with 10 of the greatest artist performances in the recent history of the event. The Gibson Showcase Theater https://www.tradebit.com was the only stage on opening day that wasn’t flooded in pouring rains that covered most of the Fan Fair entertainment throughout the four day event. In spite of the flooding from tropical storm Arlene, the Gibson Theater was dry and sold out for the fans who were given their tickets through sponsors who graciously sponsored the stage during the 12 hours of music provided daily for fans.
Jason Green who concluded the night as the main country act featured on the stage, was just a country music phenomenon. Green sounds like all the great Honky Tonk names in country music that you have always loved. He did songs from Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Jr. and his rendition of George Strait’s hit, “The Chair,” gave me goose bumps. You couldn’t help but feel the
hair on your arms standing up as he sang some of country music’s greatest all time hits during the closing segment. The Honky Tonker newcomer from Blytheville, Arkansas packed the entire club with his fans who had driven all the way from Arkansas to see him perform.
Jason Green was well worth the wait. I could have listened to him sing all night. The rich, deep tones of a true country superstar wafted over the audience and at the conclusion, there was encore after encore demanded. The crowd couldn’t get enough of Jason Green.
He is a performer I expect to see at the top of this country music business in the future.
