MP3 Asher Quinn (Asha) - Falling Through Time
16 tender and beguiling spiritually-tinged ballads, with an often ethereal kind of beauty and a disarmingly intimate vocal style. A very unusual album indeed... at once instantly accessible, catchy and direct, and yet somehow other-wordly too.

Details:
"Falling Through Time" is the third in a trilogy of highly acclaimed studio singer-songwriter albums that former new-age composer Asher Quinn has released in the last 5 years. With 16 tracks and running to nearly 70 minutes, his latest offering is an epic in every way.
There are 9 new visionary, emotive and compellingly beautiful compositions, all expressing Asher''s trademark vocal style of heart-centered, pure, sometimes melancholy intimacy, and all offering that unique, spiritual, poetic sense of other-worldliness that has characterised much of Asher''s output since he began releasing albums way back in 1987.
From the deeply touching title track, through the anthemic ''Visions'' to the ethereal ''Mystic garden'', ''Forgiveness'' and endearingly catchy ''Blessings on your soul'', Asher somehow manages to bring a glimpse of a higher vibration down to earth, depicting almost angelic realms with great compassion and tenderness.
In addition, there is a captivatingly original cover version of ''This little bird'' made famous by Marianne Faithful, with a wholly unexpected and skilfully played piano crescendo at the end, plus 6 wonderfully adapted traditional ballads, ranging from a mesmerising version of the beautiful ''Shenandoah'', powered by the gentle insistence of a native American skin-drum, to an emotionally charged rendition of ''Amazing grace''… overflowing with beauty and yearning.
The album is released on the Singing Stone Music label… Asher''s own vehicle now for his entire catalogue… and everything about the album is first class, from the musical production, the performances of Asher himself, lead guitarist Kristian Biddiss, backing vocalists Jaba and Jimena, and the hugely sympatico sound engineering of young music masters graduate Shaun Britton, to the exquisite artwork in the booklet. Graphic artist Emoke Labancz also created extraordinary YouTube videos to accompany ''Visions'' and the title track.
"Falling Through Time" is an absolute gem, and one-off mystical troubadour Asher Quinn is at the top of his game here.
