Purest Spiritual Pigs exists somewhere on the darker side of Rock. The material on this CD varies between floating melodies and driving hypnotic rhythms. Some call it brooding, others say haunting. All is open to interpretation.
Purest Spiritual Pigs was begun by Helena Thompson as a vehicle for music and multi-media collaboration. The release of this self-titled CD marks the first major project for PSP. All songs were written, played, and recorded by Helena Thompson, with the exception of "Picking Myself Up", on which Lenny Gonzalez interpreted and played guitar. Helena''s plan for the future of Purest Spiritual Pigs is to expand the project to include and involve many additional collaborative artists.
