Eric Moore, an Atlanta, Georgia native, is an anointed and accomplished vocalist. He began professionally singing in 1986 when he recorded, Always, with Bethesda Cathedral, his church choir, under the pastorship of Suffragan Bishop Stewart Reese, Jr., D. Min. Later, while pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Mercer University, Eric toured Europe with the Mercer University Chamber Singers. His style is versatile and can blend into traditional, contemporary, jazz, holy hip hop, and bluegrass. This diversity allows Eric to minister to every nationality.
As a well-known actor in the Metro Atlanta Area, Eric has appeared in the following, Paramount Pictures Production of The Fighting Temptations, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce Knowles, Five Guys Named Moe and Hometown Holidays (Aurora Theater); I Love You, You''re Perfect, Now Change (Horizon Theater); Cotton Patch Gospel starring Crystal Fox of The Heat of the Night (Alliance Theater and Rialto Theater); A Christmas Carol (Alliance Theater); Christmas Gathering (ART Station); Merry Wives of Windsor (Fourteenth Street Playhouse); of King of Glory (Green Pastures Christian Church); of I Can Do Bad, All By Myself (Tyler Perry Production).
Eric has appeared on local and national television and radio broadcasts including, Trinity Broadcast Network Praise the Lord, Candi Stanton Say Yes, Black Entertainment Television The Bobby Jones Show, FOX 5 Network Good Day Atlanta, Star Cable Network Commercial, and TV 57 Babbie''s House. Other musical credits include vocalist for the Abbey Awards, First Night Atlanta, 1996 Summer Olympics, and The High Museum of Art in Atlanta.
Eric has received a number of local honors and awards, which include: 2003 Gospel Music Association Seminar Vocal Finalist (Estes Parks, Colorado); Babbie Mason''s 2003 Music Seminar Grand Prize Winner; 1st place Vocal and 3rd place Songwriter, Gospel Today Magazine''s 2002 Artist Showcase; Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards Nominee "Best New Artist" for 1998 and 2002; and Babbie Mason''s Annual Music Seminar Finalist 1998 and 1999.
Eric''s anointed singing reaches his audience with sincerity as he proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When asked why he sings, he quickly responds, "God has given me a special gift of song to encourage and uplift people." This gift is evident in his first-released CD entitled, When God Says Enough, It''s Enough. Eric was recently blessed to debut his second independent CD, God is Good, All the Time. Shortly after which, he opened for a concert in Atlanta, which featuring Smokie Norfolk and The Williams Brothers. Other recordings include Heritage of Faith (Babbie Mason), Keeping the Family Together and Seasons of Life (The Charles Westmoreland Chorale) and Judah 2003-Atlanta Compilation Inspirational Celebration of Praise (Ken Brooks).
Eric''s goal is to continue to touch hearts and souls as he sings from his heart. As he ministers in song, his purpose is to share God''s love and kindness. His prayer is to bring souls close to God and to introduce God to those, who may not know his love. Eric and his wife Bridgett of twelve years have two beautiful children, Erika BriAunna age 8 and Joshua D''Angelo age 5, who actively support and uplift his special ministry.
