The Fibro Majestic features melodic vocals, rich guitar textures and production values that highlight a continuing depth and maturity of song writing.
Recorded at multi-award winning Mixmasters Studio (The Pigram Brothers, The Yearlings, Shane Howard) with engineer Mick Wordley at the helm, The Fibro Majestic features a cast of eminent Australian musicians including BJ Barker (Kasey Chambers, Dead Ringer Band) Brian Ruiz (FRUiT, KAHA) filling out the band’s sound with sensitive and heartfelt rhythms.
For over a decade Junior have honed their live performance as a regular part of the Australian Festival Circuit, appearing at festivals such as The National Folk Festival, Canberra; The Illawarra Folk Festival, NSW; Port Fairy Folk Festival; Fairbridge Festival Western Australia; Wintermoon and Woodford Folk Festival Queensland.
As well as making countless return trips through NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, the ACT and the Northern Territory, Junior have made numerous appearances in the Famous Spiegeltent as part of both the Adelaide and Melbourne Fringe Festivals.
Internationally Junior’s pre-recorded live performances have featured on the World Café Pennsylvania, WDST Woodstock Radio New York and West Virginia’s world renowned Mountain Stage radio show, which is syndicated to over 150 stations across the U.S. Junior continues to receive Australian airplay nationally on the ABC and has also featured on the Triple JJJ, Nova, Triple M and Austereo Networks.
As well as a preliminary European tour, Junior have performed sold-out shows in Joe’s Pub, New York City and The Point, Philadelphia and appeared at renowned international venues such as Irving Plaza, New York City, the 9.30 Club, Washington DC, and The Viper Room, Los Angeles.
