9th & Washington is a dynamic vocal group that has been together since 1992, entertaining audiences in the St. Louis metro area.
The four vocalists originally met in 1992 when they were asked to provide entertainment for a library benefit dinner in their home community. This library (located at the corner of 9th & Washington streets) gave the group both their name and an opportunity to perform the four-part vocal harmonies that they all loved. While this was to be a one time program they had such a great time that they have been together ever since! And they continue to have a great time whenever they are together!!
9th & Washington has provided entertainment for a huge variety of events in the St. Louis area and have delighted audiences with their exquisite harmonies and tight vocals. Although they perform a wide range of musical styles, 9th & Washington focuses on the wonderful vocal classics of the swing era which appeals to a wide audience.
