Noise Complaints, the debut solo album from IAME, is over 73 minutes of raw hip-hop, with intelligent wordplay and incredible production, from one of the Northwest''s top up and coming MCs. Inspired by both the beauty and the gloom of the rain-soaked City of Thornz (Portland, Oregon), and the constant drama and demons that surround him, Noise Complaints is simply one man''s way of venting, questioning life, and trying to keep his head up even when it seems like there is no hope left. IAME guides the listener through the murky depths of his mind while each song is like a recorded complaint about everything that eats away at him and annoys the hell out of him; ranging from Cops and neighbors trying to turn the music down, traffic jams, and wack rappers who pretend to be gangsta, to more serious topics such as addiction, our current open ended war, and spiritual battles to remain a good person in the face of so much temptation. IAME is also a member of the Sandpeople and Oldominion, two super crews from the northwest, and is in a group with fellow sandperson Goldini Bagwell (Gold) under the name Clockwerk. Gold joins IAME and Toni Hill (from Oldominion and Siren''s Echo) for a song on Noise Complaints entitled UniverSoul. The album also has guest appearances from Soul Plasma, as well as Smoke and NyQwil from Oldominion and features production from Simple and Sapient of the Sandpeople as well as EarthFire music (Smoke and Zebulon Dak of Oldominion). You can get 19 Tracks of original, underground music for only 10 dollars... you can''t be mad.
