ROCK: Progressive Rock, METAL: Progressive Metal

Details:
The first release from Canadian progressive rock artists IN GOD WE TRUST...

Formed in 2005 from the ashes of their former group LEMMINGS, John Pascoe (basses, keyboards, guitars & vocals) (ex-TENNEFIELD DOWN) and Gary Semkiw (acoustic, electric & MIDI guitars) (formerly of the Canadian hard rock group, FURY), together with session drummer Ron Ezako (also a former member of FURY). Forging a unique blend of Canadian prog! Superb instrumentalists, drawing on styles as diverse as folk and gothic metal, they weave seamless, memorable tales both musically and lyrically...

maxi single includes the following tracks:

"Here Comes The Future (Plastic Flamingos)"

- A dark, satirical look at today''s culture of waste and excess and an emotive plea to stop environmental destruction! This track has been released as a single in the UK and the Netherlands and has already received considerable airplay...

"... Mother Nature drowns... it''s her swan song... we stood around while it all went wrong..."

"Eden (Where The Journey Must Begin)"

- Another lyrically intense track, this one focusing on conflicts and morality. Featuring Gary Semkiw''s ''Steve Hackett-like'' guitar lines, sinuous basslines intertwining with Ron Ezako''s fluid drumming. Also of note are the haunting backing vocals of Canadian solo artist Jennifer Reid...

"If you can''t hold back... temptation"

"Titania, Wait!" (For Vera)

- An absolute powerhouse! Stunning ''tour-de-force'' guitar work from Gary Semkiw and exquisite keyboards from vocalist John Pascoe frame this tearful lament for a lost love. The unusual lyrical imagery arising from memories of a long forgotten performance of Shakespeare''s "A Midsummernight''s Dream" and John''s sense of loss, after losing his ''Titania'' (to cancer, at the age of 41)...

"Remember me... when autumn comes..."
