all sorts of genres, even non-rock styles.
Mid Day Rising is the first EP released by this solo artist (and his band), which are a batch of some memorable
acoustic-oriented pop songs, which range back from his most favorite artists from the 50''s, 60''s and 70''s with a nod to modern rock artists.
The first 3 songs are upbeat folk-rock/pop type songs that has melodies that you''ll be singing along to in no time.
They all have elements of clever studio crafting with arrangements, the stereo spectrum and in the recording process in general.
"Reason For Waiting" is a piano ballad with some fine emotional lead vocals. "Winter" is a jazzy torch ballad pop song. The last song on the EP called "The Northern Lights" is an ethereal piano/strings instrumental which shows a composers view of songwriting and arranging orchestral instruments.
