A graduate of a masters program in Consciousness Studies from Holmes Institute and Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, Cynthia combines the creativity of the arts and therapeutic techniques to bring healing to individuals of all ages and cultures. A survivor of childhood abuse, Rev. James has developed tools through speaking and music that have assisted thousands of people in transcending the wounds of abuse and trauma.
"THE HAND OF GOD," her original one-woman show dealing with her personal victory is gaining National acclaim. Her companion workshop, "WHAT WILL SET YOU FREE?" concentrates on healing techniques for abuse and trauma victims. Cynthia has developed a seven-week program that accompanies the workshop experience to assist with the on-going healing process. Rev. James was honored by ICAN (Inter-agency on Child Abuse and Neglect) Associates and Los Angeles County for her ongoing contributions in the areas of community service, child abuse and neglect education. The creation of Cynthia''s CD''s is a representation of her personal healing.
