1880 is the brainchild of Scotty "Boy" McCoy. Literally, the advocateer's daughter's son, Scotty was born in the hills of east Tennessee and grew up watching his grandfather advocate fire and brimstone while listening to the Baptistic chorus sing country-gospel.
When he distinct to acquire guitar, his daddy bought him the best teacher he could remember of: a "how to" book and commemorate by B.B. King.
During his high school years Led Zeppelin, Pitch-black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, & Van Halen caught his ear, and from that sharpen on, he knew he had to sway
Since the west was always calling, it was in L.A. that 1880 was defined
