Live at McLean Chapel was recorded on March 19, 2006 in McLean Chapel on the campus of Holy Names University in Oakland, CA. After receiving numerous requests for copies of the concert, Amy, Jenni and Miles decided to release it digitally.

McLean Chapel has outstanding acoustics and Chris Seifert, our recording technician did a fantastic job capturing the recital and then later mastering it for digital release.

Jenni Carbaugh Cook, a native of Byron, Illinois received her Bachelor of Music degree from Bradley University and her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Illinois.
Professor Cook has taught as an adjunct teacher at Millikin University, Eureka College, and Bradley University. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Music in Voice at the University of New Hampshire where she teaches voice, diction, vocal pedagogy, and music appreciation.
Dr. Cook also enjoys an active performing career, having sung lead roles in La Traviata for the Zweigroschenoper in Humbach, Germany, and at the University of Illinois, La Bohème, The Magic Flute, The Merry Widow, and Dialogues of the Carmelites. She was also the soprano soloist for Brahms'' Ein Deutsches Requiem. In 1999, Ms. Cook performed with the Haydn Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria as the soprano soloist for Haydn''s Die Jahreszeiten and Beethoven''s Messe in C-dur.
In 2003, Dr. Cook was the soprano soloist in performances of Carmina Burana and Messiah with the UNH Orchestra and Concert Choir under the direction of Dr. William Kempster. In June of 2003, Dr. Cook performed three recitals in Vienna, Austria with her pianist colleague Arlene Kies also on the music faculty at UNH. Dr. Cook has recorded her first solo CD entitled "Six Women" which includes songs by four women composers: Alma Mahler, Pauline Viardot, Lili Boulanger, and Clara Schumann.

Amy Likar, flute and piccolo, is an active free-lance performer in the Bay Area of California. She is a member of the Oakland East Bay Symphony and has performed with the Oakland Chamber Ensemble, the Berkeley Symphony, the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, Lamplighters Music Theater, and Pocket Opera.
She has taught at The Ohio State University and Ashland University. As an active chamber musician she has performed at numerous colleges and universities across the United States. In addition, she has performed at National Flute Association Conventions and at the International Double Read Society Conference.
She holds Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor''s in Music Education and Flute Performance from Kent State University. Her flute teachers include Martha Aarons and Katherine Borst Jones.
She has her Alexander Technique training from the Alexander Training Institute of San Francisco and is a certified Andover Educator and has presented Body Mapping classes throughout the United States and Europe.

Miles Graber received his musical training at the Juilliard School, where he studied with Anne Hull, Phyllis Kreuter, Hugh Aitken, and Louise Behrend. He has lived in the Bay Area since 1971, where he has developed a wide reputation as an accompanist and collaborative pianist for instrumentalists and singers.

He has been associated with numerous solo artists, as well as with such ensembles as the San Francisco Chamber Soloists, Midsummer Mozart, the Oakland-East Bay Symphony,
and the San Francisco Camerata. He has been a frequent performance accompanist and chamber player with members of the San Francisco Symphony, the San Jose Symphony, The Berkeley Symphony, the California Symphony, the Santa Rosa Symphony.

He is active as a teacher and chamber music coach, and is on the faculties of the Crowden School in Berkeley and the San Domenico Conservatory in San Anselmo. He is currently a staff accompanist and chamber music coach in the Preparatory Division of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
